Mariella Mengozzi

It is with a heavy heart that we share this news.
Mariella was a wonderful woman, great board-member and
contributor to our organisation.
This is a great loss on the personal and professional side.
Mariella, you will be dearly missed!

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John H Haynes OBE, the creator of the famous Haynes Manual, founder of the Haynes Publishing Group PLC and the Haynes International Motor Museum.  John passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on the evening of Friday 8th February, aged 80, after a short illness.  John was a kind, generous, loving and devoted husband, brother, father and grandfather, who will be missed enormously.  Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Annette, his brother David and sister Mary, his sons J and Chris and their families.

Vale Ron West

It is with great sadness that we advise of the death of our friend and colleague Ron West, Treasurer of the Australasian Motor Museums Association.

Ron was a founding member and avid supporter of the AMMA, having attended the inaugural meeting and for the majority of his time was a Committee member, Treasurer, State Delegate for Western Australia well as managing his own successful business and his much loved West Coast Motor Museum.

Internationally Ron also attended World Forums for Motor Museums in Los Angeles USA and Sinsheim Germany.

We wish his family our deepest sympathy at this very difficult time.

The 2018 World Forum has been a great opportunity for the many delegates to learn and discuss the multiple challenges the automotive museums and heritage is facing.

The World Forum board would like to thank all speakers, attendees, organising partners and site visits
for making the 2018 World Forum a succes.

We are looking forward to the 2020 edition and hope to see you all !
