Dear friends and colleagues,
We hope this email finds you well during these extraordinary times. We want to take a moment to update you on the status of the November 2020 joint conference at the Revs Institute with the World Forum for Motor Museums (WFFMM) and National Association of Automobile Museums (NAAM).
The Revs Institute, WFFMM, and NAAM have agreed to delay the conference until April 28-May 1, 2021. This is to ensure the health and safety of our staff, guests, and sponsors. In addition, we wanted to give the museums and venues enough time to begin their financial recovery. As much as possible, the conference will go on as planned. The basic calendar and events will remain on schedule, just at the April-May dates.
You will receive separate emails from the Revs Institute and the hotels if you already registered or had hotel reservations. The conference hotels are generously and graciously keeping their rates the same, and the registration costs will also remain the same. The conference sponsors are fully supportive of the changed dates and they will be with us in April.
The new conference website is online but without the daily schedule, and the Sched software is temporarily turned off. This gives the Revs team the necessary time to work with the speakers to make any necessary changes to the schedule.
On behalf of the Revs Institute, WFFMM, and NAAM, we certainly hope you can participate in 2021. Our conference theme, the Future of the Past is Collaboration, is more true now than ever. We look forward to seeing you in April 2021.
Thank you, be safe, and happy motoring.
