The World Forum for Motor Museums was established by Lord Montagu of Beaulieu, Michael Ware and Peter Mitchell in 1988 with the objective of organising a gathering of museum directors and curators that specifically collected and displayed road transport vehicles.
The governing Secretariat is made up of nine internationally known museum professionals who support over 1,500 transport museums worldwide and are responsible for organisation of this biennial forum which will be hosted next in Germany in September 2016. Bonhams have very kindly offered to support the Sectretariat and we are delighted to have them on board.
